CFM User vs. User Sliders

Sup Madden people. I've been on Operation Sports (OS) for nearly 10 years under multiple accounts. It wasn't until recent that I've started to come here daily for information because I did the unthinkable, and started a CFM for 31 other hungry Madden players. The CFM is currently in its 3rd madden cycle.

My approach with the sliders are much like Aestis (who I have mad respect for taking time to do this each year for us who wonder if we got it right). I try to focus not so much on fun, but more so on results. I would go into all the details, but trust me when I say I'd have to give too much info. I'll keep it short and say I have gone through many sites and research regarding NFL outcomes to reach the 1st conclusion below. I feel like the results from the sliders and and User play meet to give real NFL numbers.

So with that I present what I normally hold as my CFM's secret sauce and more than welcome any feedback positive or negative.

COMMISSIONER SETTINGS

CPU SKILL

QB Accuracy:38

Pass Interference 48
Interceptions: 40
Pass Coverage 51

SPECIAL TEAMS

These sliders to this point have been used over 30 plus times over with CPU vs. Human. And Nearly 18 and counting vs HUMAN TO HUMAN. The only Catch in comparison to NFL actual averages to this point is that my settings have running backs averaging close to 2.3 to 2.7 per run. The NFL has gives a result of 3 to 4. I left that simply because I think most will adjust to the game over time and get to that 3 to 4 yards per carry.

Re: CFM User vs. User Sliders

If it helps you out, two key benchmarks for the run game to keep in mind:

NFL averages 4.1 ypc across the whole.

However, in a given week, the median for TEAM ypc ranges from 3.5 to 4.2.

So, as long as the spread of teams is fairly diverse, that means every ~15 or so games, you can see a range of 3.5 - 4.3. But over time your middle teams should be averaging 4.1 for the season.

Hope that makes sense.

tldr; The weekly median is ~3.5 - 4.2, but the yearly median end goal is 4.1

My man . I like many are hoping you come through soon with your sliders as it helps all of us all feel more comfortable that we're on one accord. I only post this to the public because after mentioning it in your thread many asked. So now its here for the masses to pick apart and make better.
