Madden 21 CPU vs CPU Sliders 15 minute or 10 Minute quarters

Yeah. It bothers me too. I’m trying someone else’s custom set. Not seeing it at all there. In all fairness, this guy’s testing on PC, maybe PC and console play different this year. I’m seeing way too much offense. Since that set’s on all pro, the all pro qb unevenness rears it’s ugly head. The cpu qb is always leagues better than the human controlled team.

I don’t think messing with sliders is the way to go this year. Plays way better at default levels. 10 minute quarters Is way more stable right now. It may be until later in release like last year before we can use the 15 minute quarters.

Trying all pro default again with the play the moments 2 controller trick Unclejunior posted. Doing 15 minutes with 13 second runoff.

When i first tried this, it did the prompt for the moments and i had to skip every time. It’s not doing that now.

The trick:

1. Only be the owner/coach for one team.
2. Hook up a second controller.
3. Go to play the moments.
4. When game starts, be fast and mash circle (on ps4) and this takes you to super sim screen.
5. Choose slow speed.
6. Select end of game.

Way more even gameplay in early looks. It just glitched on me the other day. Maybe it won’t today. Like i said it’s not taking me to the skip or play the moment prompt like it was the other day.

When you pause the game in cfm, and go to penalties, the Ineligble man downfield is turned off. I’m turning it off in Main Menu. There’s no option for it in the CFM menu slider screen. In cfm, you only see ineligble man When in the actually game.

Just realized, when i turn even team’s on and see penalties, I’m using default all madden, but turning even teams on in main menu.

Updated the Original Post with instructions on how to get the game not to crash in cfm while slow simming. It’s the first thing in the post.

In the game’s current state, it crashes if you slow sim in cfm while being connected to the internet. Make sure your console isn’t connected to the internet when you start . If you don’t do this, the Madden will crash after you finish the game and exit to main menu. Seems like the guys on PC don’t have this issue. Not sure. Shoutout to doncropper for figuring this out.

This will be the shortest slider OP I’ve ever done. Maybe best for you guys to try pro, all pro, all madden default. See which one you like the most. I havent tried rookie with even teams ON. So i don’t know about it yet. Honestly, I may switch it up everytime I play a game. Do game one in pro, do game 2 in all pro, do game 3 in all madden. Just to add some variation to gameplay. I hope rookie works too. Just adds more options. Don’t touch any of the assists. Leave it as it comes. Only one adjustment in main menu. Turn ON EVEN TEAMS in Main Menu. This really helps the game and teams still blow out other teams. With I even teams off, one team is gonna have an edge at qb position. When ON you get even play. In cfm, xfactors are user preference unless Seattle is on the field. If the Hawks are playing, turn this off. It’s really bad. With the other teams, xfactors plays just fine. Also I’ve been playing with 10 minute quarters, but this too is user preference.

Just saw a kick return for a touchdown by the Browns. First one I’ve seen this year, I think. Mighta saw on release day before the patch.

This was with all madden default. I dropped INT to 40. Only change. Ints were a tad high on pure default.

All Madden is the only level I’m seeing more penalties on. Now, there’s some games where they don’t happen as much, but they do seem to happen more on all madden.

Which one seems to play the best on default? A few years ago I did a whole season on default and was happy with the results. I thing it was on all madden
