And one reason we're doing custom draftclasses: i'm able to control "gamebreaker" draftclasses. In one draftclass i found 3 or 4 really good HB. All with 94/95 Speed. Had to lower their speed. Runstats would be again far over NFL median.

I'm ok with 1 or 2 outstanding talents at a position group (viewing at speed). But i would never put a draftclasse with half a dozen or more +94 Spd WR in the league. Those 3 rookie wr in the gm league were (71, 70, 70 OVR). All very good. And all of them would make at least 1000 yds, i would bet around 1500yds in their rookie season. Most speed guys get bad hands or bad route running edited or i make them slower.

How do you handle the fact that you have access to the draft class ratings but the rest of the league does not?

Can't speak for him but I spent the time to edit almost the entire draft for our league and did it in week 3 and then save and forget.

Been doing it for a while so have built up a rep in the league as a commissioner with integrity so it's usually not questioned. And it would be easy to tell just by simply looking back at the players you drafted. - It also helps that I work nights and haven't made it to an actual draft in like 5 seasons....

While i've followed your sliders for a very long time and tweaked them a bit to suit our needs on PC CFM we've ran since m19. This year has been god awful for perfecting sliders.

It's like they took the Sack issue from last season by having the DL to OP to having that issue now with INTs. We attempted INT sliders at 5 for a few weeks. It was rough, while INTs went way down there was a lot of distain as a lot of open INTs were being dropped.

I think when the admin tools dropping in mid jan where ball hawk can be turned off for the entire league will improve INT stats some will help a bit, but EA needs to in general get bounds and leaps better at creating an actual simulation game for the franchise users in m22.

There's no question about this.

And no question in my mind either that, at least for 32-user leagues, this is the worst Madden since I began playing in online leagues in M15. The balance is the worst since I've been measuring which is several years now.

No point in my long rant for everything that is broken, but the net/net is that sliders can only make broken things slightly better. They can't fix the break. These sliders are a lot better than stock. Leagues who run at stock or near stock gameplay are even worse. But make no mistake: gameplay on these sliders sucks. It is not well balanced nor is it enjoyable.

RFF, what year are you in your league and how would you adjust these sliders if you would start a fresh league with current rosters? Thanks.

That's actually me.

When you edit around 200 players you are not able to know any details when the draft is otc. And: do not edit traits. So i don't know who has Star/SS/XF development.

I do my scouting like everyone else and draft like everyone else. Everyone is fine with it.

Apologies for delayed response, IRL has taken me away from Madden for a while. For a fresh league I'd use the season 1 sliders which I believe are saved in OP. Then move toward season 3 as you progress 1-2 seasons.

Your league talent may not progress exactly like our league since 2 draft classes is a tiny sample size and positional talent can certainly vary from league to league, but it's probably better than standing still. Things like XP sliders and us refunding some QB regression make a difference, too.

These are actually really good for user vs. cpu.
