Tighter defense play

I am more old school. Offenses do not score as often with defenses stopping 3rd down conversions at a higher rate. I am grateful for everyone’s sliders, just trying to get a taste of football from the 70’s and early 80’s. Can anyone recommend what sliders to adjust to get more running, less passing, maybe a few more punts.

Raising threshold should get you close to what you are looking for.

It tightens things up. However, to get playcalling like you want it, im not sure it will change the cpu gameplan.

Use the vikings offensivd playbook. It’s the most old school book in the game. Raiders is probably the second best in this regard.
