Jumping Spinning CPU INT on AM

I'm noticing a high frequency of these types of picks lately on AM.

Do we know the driver of this animation yet? Is it primarily INT? A discrepancy between the HUM CTH & CPU INT values? An aspect of CPU PDRT & INT values? A combination of other factors?

Any insights from folks who've seen this and been able to isolate root causes and tamp them down would be delightful.

I'm talking about cases where this type of INT seems contextually inappropriate, given the matchup, throw type, and the angle of the pass, not throws into coverage or to the wrong receiver, etc.

Re: Jumping Spinning CPU INT on AM

My Vikings team had one today.. both my CB and the receiver were battling on a long route and then my CB spins around and jumps up to get the INT without even looking to see if the ball was coming. I don't remember seeing it in M21.

I also saw the CPU LB jump up in the air to snag one but after lowering interceptions, I haven't seen it again.

I might have to lower HUM interceptions to see if that helps.

Re: Jumping Spinning CPU INT on AM

adembroski said that the catch for AI defense is by default way higher than it's supposed to be, so maybe drop it down to 20.

Re: Jumping Spinning CPU INT on AM

35/35 for both HUM and CPU interceptions is working well so far on AM.

Re: Jumping Spinning CPU INT on AM

Thanks for th responses, y'all!

I saw Adembroski's post & am following the progress of your thread, Mizzou.

This does seem to be an animation that's either new or more prominent on 22...I'm hoping it's a thing they dune down/out, but we'll just have to wait and see...

Yeah, I'm down to 30/30 now for interceptions.

Re: Jumping Spinning CPU INT on AM

I'm messing with increased HUM CTH and decreased INT for both and those 2 things appear to work well together.

After lots of back and forth on settings, it does seem to me that this issue can be mitigated significantly, which is good.
