While this is true that the average madden player is not as good as a real NFL QB, the opposing CPU QB is throwing as many or more picks because defenders have too much of a sticky hands in this game. INT slider is not working no matter what value it is at.

This is something that only the Devs can fix.

Re: When/Where will we hear an update about the INT problem?

One item I have found to reduce the number of interceptions I throw (even on All-Madden) is to reduce (even slightly) both the CPU reaction time and pass coverage slider. A slight tweak while retaining most default settings has worked for me.

When/Where will we hear an update about the INT problem?

I just had a great game with both INT sliders at 100. 5 picks thrown in total. 2 by cpu and 3 by me. I play 15min qts. I feel like I could of avoided throwing 2 of my interceptions if I had thrown the ball away or thrown to an open receiver.

This game is *** right now.
change to DBs go after the player rather than the ball, SWATS down instead of trying to INT every time.

But I am assuming that the INT issue will be at the top of the list of things to fix. No one mentioned this in the beta?!?!
All of us mentioned it in the beta, but the consensus was leave it how it is as well, so not sure if EA had a bit of wildly divergent data to follow based upon the beta..

Re: When/Where will we hear an update about the INT problem?

For all who are struggling for throwing too many INT or the CPU throwing too many INT I have found that these sliders helped me out a lot. I still get some nonsense (Ie I still think it needs patched) but these sliders really helped the game kind of settle down and not play so crazy INT-fest

These were called REALISM on XSX when I got them but someone said maybe it was REALISTIC23 or something like that, either way the settings above in the screenshots show what the sliders should be if you want to check you got the right ones

Re: When/Where will we hear an update about the INT problem?

Hate to say it but I've shelved Madden until this issue is addressed. It's a shame too I was really looking forward to this year's game with the franchise improvements and it being my first Madden on next gen in addition to really getting back into the NFL lately. Was excited to see what I could do with my Texans, but it just isn't happening.

I've seen plenty of arguments from people that say they think the game plays fine and honestly good for them, I'm glad for them. But I will be the first to admit I'm not good at this game, I don't play it to show off my sick stick skills or to put up crazy stats. I play it to get an NFL simulation, even in last years game I could offset my poor skill with sliders and get a good product on the field.

This year it's completely different, even with interceptions at 0 for both myself and the CPU, it doesn't matter. I've played over 20 test games at this point, tried at least five different slider sets including one I made myself on difficulties ranging from Pro to All-Madden (What I played on last year, and what I would play on again this year if the interception slider was functioning how it did last year). No luck.

It's funny I get a great game on All-Madden with everything BUT the passing game, I was able to dial in slider to get great ground stats, even CPU passing was pretty solid other than, of course throwing a ton of picks. But any ball the general vicinity of a defender is picked off, I've seen one dropped interception in over 20 games of gameplay. But the straw that broke the camels back was when I had a game with the most interceptions for both teams since 1972, and the funny part is it was one of my better games, I only threw 2 of them! lol.

Maybe it's bad luck, maybe I'm just terrible. I don't know but I'm over being frustrated with it, too many good games I want to play right now on Next-Gen. I truly hope that this is addressed soon because I was really excited to get into some Madden this year but to be honest I have lost the wind in my sails to try. I may start up a CPU vs. CPU franchise at some point but I'm done trying to get a good gameplay until there are some changes.

Hope other people are enjoying the game!

I saw this posted on Reddit today. Don’t know any of these people but might atleast be an acknowledgment they’re working on it?
