Day 1 patch

I get myself excited by purchasing the delux edition for the 3 day early access, get excited but then hardly play the game the first week due to the glitches or waiting for the slider gurus to come out with some sliders. The HFA and sound issue are the two main things for me

Honestly, even if there is a patch, I would not necessarily get your hopes high that it will address the things you want.

I just now got a patch update that I downloaded on Series X. It was a small one at 586MB

Again console players, make sure you save a current copy to you PC or external in case the Update introduces issues or gameplay is worse to you.

This way you can go back instead of waiting for who knows how long for issues to be fixed/corrected.

No update for PS5 yet.

For anyone who gets the patch, does it fix the player editing bug?

Gameplay is wildly different after this patch, from the 2 or so hours I spent on both sides of it.

Offline franchise, simulation gameplay. Pre-patch I was lighting up the scoreboard on All-Madden. Loved watching the run blocking AI, but I sprung a lot more runs than I should have.

Post patch feels like an overcorrection. They seemed to nerf passing by just making your QB inaccurate most of the time and giving LBs other-wordly ball skills. Running now feels closer to the way it did in 23 but with better animations.

I hate that we'll get patch whiplash with gameplay overcorrections for the next 3-4 months before the game feels like a stable release.
