I noticed that the raiders moved their LB‘s DE‘s and DT‘s to a 4-3 (edge is at DE etc) but havent switched their playbook (still a 3-4 disguise with heavily 3-4 Sets)

As a Raider fan who hasnt missed a snap in years and am also a former player of the sport…. let me clear something up…. Raiders have never been 3-4. They have been 4-3 for years. They flirted with the idea a few times under Graham but never committed because they didnt have a DT or LB to do the job. So they resorted back to the 4-3 set. How can you run a 3-4 when you dont have LB? Lol they love Diablo and seems like a project. But this 3-4 is not correct. Crosby is a DE. Not a OLB or any type of LB. The odd time he may pick up a HB option. In fact… Raiders ran a false 3-4 last game… 2 of the LB were CB’s. Like a loaded dime set.

Im going to switch the playbook to 4-3 and move Crosby to DE where he belongs. If anyone has a solution…. Please advise.

That does kind of bring up an interesting point. How do the ratings people determine player ratings each season? I know you say it’s not a lifetime achievement award, although no one made that argument, I assume they use more than the previous season’s data. Dak’s INTs last year were an outlier for his career. He is actually a great example of why a guy like Purdy shouldn’t be a top QB in the game yet. Do you remember Dak’s first season where he broke Brady’s record for the most completions to start a career without throwing a pick? Madden didn’t have some knee-jerk reaction and make him the most accurate passer in the game. My point is that was a statistical outlier, and at this time, his 15 INTs last year are an outlier. Now, if he does that again, which I don’t think he will considering many of those picks were on the WRs, then his accuracy ratings should start to tumble.

I think in last roster update Crosby and chandler Jones were moved to defensive end, don’t know if they fixed their playbook or not though.

I know its a complaint every year, but I really don't know what game they're watching.

Josh Allen goes down, deservedly so. Frankly he got off light. But why Matt Milano losing AWR? He had a pick and a massive TFL in that game. Why does Damien Harris lose points but Kaiir Elam (a healthy scratch) does not? Why does Spencer Brown (who got his BUTT KICKED) not lose points?

So your judging him off last year because he threw 15 picks in a season for the 1st time in his career?

If so that means your going to dismiss the fact that Dark is ranked in the top in NFL history amongst qb's with 2.0 interception ratio.

To put that into perspective AROD ranks #1 at 1.4%
Brady is 5th at 1.8 %

So throughout the history of the game Dak came into this season ranked 10th overall and your judging him on outlier season in which he broke his thumb.

If you want more data based on next gen stats Dak finished 4th amongst deep passers on passes that traveled 20+ yards downfield for the 2022 season.

Only Geno Smith, Tua and Hurts ranked ahead of him.

And lastly quarterbacks with the best 3rd down conversion rate on 3rd & over 5 yards Dak finished at 43% 2nd overall behind Mahomes who was at 44% .

The Cowboys offense has ranked top 5 in points per game each of the last 3 seasons with him at QB.

So maybe EA is factoring in more than just one season of him throwing 15 interceptions to determine his overall rating

Roster updates are needed every week. Minor cleaning up etc. Zero reason we don't get one each week, along with a starting point roster for Franchise.
