As usual, the 53 man roster looks pretty solid. However, it's still frustrating that the practice squads are a chore to assemble. For instance, the Giants have six players who are eligible but who are not in the roster set. If you are going to insist on not updating the PS rules, EA, at the very least you should include all of the players who are eligible. Instead, if we want to have anything close to the actual squads, we have to create a bunch of players. Why is this put on the consumer instead of the producer of the product? Please do better in 2025, EA.

yea, this makes no sense the way they got practice squad rules in the game, most of the players they have on them don’t qualify in game , then cpu teams sign players that aren’t really on the teams
There goes the accuracy of the rosters.
And why does he leave the fa players that are on the practice squads in fa list instead of adding them each week?

How do you all start a franchise with these rosters ?? Every time I do the online franchise week 1 option, it’s not the same roster. And if I try “sim to regular season” it changes all the practice squad players, etc

If you select a Week 1 start date for an online franchise, it should just work if you picked the online one. You can maybe go to Edit Rosters and click Update Rosters, but I would think you already have that file downloaded.

As for the practice squads getting messed up, that's just going to happen because of the wonky roster rules within franchise mode, it's talked about a bit even in this thread.
