Just got Madden 25 on PS4 so I'm doing a fun offline CFM with the Seahawks. Wilson is pretty balanced with the ability to both good, but neither spectacularly.

I'd want a pocket passer who can get out of the way of the rush and not a scrambling QB who has no pocket presence.

I'm building around a pocket passer I drafted for my Vikings franchise. Well, really I'm building around AP, but having a QB not named Ponder or Cassel helps.

Re: Are you building your franchise on a "scrambling" or "pocket passer" quarterback?

I built my Dallas Cowboys Madden 13 team around pocket passer Austin Duncan who was superb and won NFL MVP twice.
So this time around I fancied a bit of a speedster with my London Black Knights franchise and took Price McCaskill in the first round who had all-round good skills with A for speed and acceleration.
His play didn't disappoint, however, I started to notice virtually every time he got tackled past the line of scrimmage he would get injured and be out of the game for a period of time (ranging from a couple of plays to the whole of the game).
His injury rating was high 70s and I built his toughness up to the 80s so I couldn't really understand the problem but the inevitable happened when he received a six-week arm fracture injury which blew my season apart as I went on a losing streak. On his return we won five on the bounce and missed out on the play-offs losing the final game 21-24 to the Titans!
The new season began with high hopes with McCaskill showing he had the ability, but within the first quarter of the first game he tore his stomach muscles putting him out for the season. Ouch, ouch, ouch!!!!
The injury is bad enough but he also misses out on experience points so can't develop properly. It's hard to avoid the temptation to scramble when thats where his skills are but I have already traded for the Broncos rookie qb Sam Delagarza and I think he will probably oust McCaskill when he gets back from injury.
Sorry for the long post but thought it was worth the cautionary tale for you.
