I bought the game yesterday im having a lot of fun with it im not the biggest football guy so i don't really know much about it

I do fine on offense but when it comes to defense i can't stop the run or WR's get left open past 2 of my defenders ( im not sure what you call them by position ) and im using the game flow plays and ask madden plays because i don't really know any or what to go with

Should i just take my time and learn them all ignore the game flow/madden plays? ..game is pretty fun but frustrating

You don't have to play defense. You can pick the play and your team will be controlled by CPU. That's how I play and I enjoy it tremendously.
