So who do we believe when it comes to the GameChanger program?

Everyone on OS who complained about the "gamechanger" program and called it out for what it is got lambasted here by the usual suspects at the time. Well - now that Coach Ruckus has been excommunicated from the gamechanger program, he is singing a different tune - and I mean a REALLY different tune.

I guess those of us who choose to see things as they are instead of how we wish they would be aren't all that stupid after all.

Yes - this is the same coach ruckus that crapped on folks for criticizing the gamechanger program, the developers and EA sports in general for the failure that has been Madden football. Now that he is basically "undoing" everything he said before in this video and he is basically stating what many savvy posters on OS have been saying for years, is he suddenly going to be labeled a "h8r" too? Remember the "sim perspective"? I remember listening to countless episodes and being told that people don't really know what goes on and how hard the developers work, etc. So who is really telling the truth here?

Very interesting, I was one of those guys that criticized the game changers. Think this post might have been better in the next-gen forum. Most people have migrated over there.

Thanks Khelis. This isn't meant to bash Ruckus - actually it's the contrary. This is definitely interesting stuff with respect to why Madden has become what it is.

Who do we beleive? Truth lies somewhere in the middle. Obviously EA, their community leaders and other game changers won't respond directly. One has to wonder why and what Ruckus did to be "excommunicated" from the program, but none if this is news. CrimsonTide said just as much in November last year.

This is true good sir. It's also nothing that we all had not already concluded on our own. It's just interesting to see someone make that drastic of a turnaround. One has to wonder what goes on there, because there are a lot of problems in and around that studio.

This is the same thing I and others have known for years. No shocker here.

EDIT: One thing to note - what he is doing is certainly capable of drawing a lawsuit. Very, very risky.

Why do people even need to ask this question? It doesn't make any sense... Why would he say anything like this or bad about them while he is a game changer? It's like people asking players if they want their crappy coach to stay. Do you really think anyone is going to say anything bad or be honest? I just don't understand how people even question that. I'm sure EA has them sign something that would prevent this while they are a game changer. Not worth getting sued over. This assuming the NDA or whatever only last until termination. Otherwise as you said it could be a lawsuit. Remember EA paid YouTubers to say good things. So wouldn't make sense if they didn't do the same for these guys.

Sums it up. This guy is just one of many, we have been saying these things for quite some time. None of this feels new.

Also, why is he eating in that video? Was he really that hungry that he couldn't wait?
