How well is free agency/draft logic on next gen?

Back in the old PS2 days like some of you im sure, I had a convoluted system to fix the broken logic in the draft/free agent periods. How does next gen compare with what was on the ps3/xbox? How about old PS2 days. Keep in mind I have never kept a ps3 madden long enough to explore the offseason. Bought two in the gen and sold them within a few weeks...

Nobody knows? I dont need an essay in response. a simple yes or no with a quick explanation of whether a team releases a franchise qb in his prime type of stuff or if a team like the colts with andrew luck will draft 2 other qb's.

Re: How well is free agency/draft logic on next gen?

I have seen the Rams draft a QB after my first season. Bradford was injured and the rookie took over. Now in year 3 of my Franchise and Rams rolling with the 2nd year QB & Bradford is the backup, most likely letting the BIG contract expire.

I have not seen the CPU keep selecting QB's high after selecting one high the previous year.

In Free Agency you see the Salary Cap veteran's released.

Thanks for the response....
so drafting is generally ok... and salary cap casualties exist like in the NFL,but a team with cap space wont let a 26 year old number one receiver walk or say the 49ers wont fail to re-sign Kapearnick etc right?

I always see Kaep walk. Usually ends up stuck as a free agent. Too much money for a mobile QB.

My 3rd year.....I see the Lions released Suh (he's 28 yrs old). The Colts picked him up for 1 yr $12 million!
I have to think that was a Salary Cap issue I would think.
