Oh, and BTW, draft position has NOTHING to do with how good of a player somebody is. If it did, Warren Sapp, Randy Moss, Aaron Rodgers, etc would not have been drafted as low as they were, considering they are most likely the best players to come out of their respective draft classes.

Because he was the number one rated qb and dropped. Pretty simple.. He was a clear number one before his pro day. Showed accuracy issues and fell. Rodgers is good he also sat on the bench and learned from a legend. I don't believe he was rated high on madden right off the bat either.

If Madden rates rookies on their pro day, I will never buy a Madden game again.

He is the most accurate of the quarterbacks in this draft.

He dropped because of his pro day, because he didn't want to campaign for the Heisman which took him out of the spotlight, and because Louisville fell out of the spotlight when they lost to UCF (Bridgewater had a go ahead TD in that game with less than 5 minutes to go).

All stupid reasons not to take him.

Matthews and Hageman are a tad high. Matthews 81 and Hageman 73.

You got a beast in Hageman, though. It's going to be tough for my Gophers to fill that void.

Sitting QBs is overrated. Some need time to learn and some don't. It can help and hurt quarterbacks. Do you think Wilson would be even better if he sat and watch? The answer is no.

Re: Rate The Rookies

By the way for anyone wondering the way I'd rate rookies is by combine stats and pro day stats being most important. Because some players played against weak competition(case and point Blake Bortles and Jimmy Goroppolo) so we shouldn't rate them based on college.

Their play against weaker competition is much more telling than combine and pro day stats. We get too caught up in measurables. It helps, but it is like 10-20% of the equation.

And when Teddy played against elite competition he shredded them like it was another day at the office.

The Raiders also evaluate players purely based on pro days and the combine. They haven't made the playoffs in 12 years. Seems like a great way to evaluate talent.
