Does anyone know if Madden 15 will have any team play aspect to it?

Communities? Online Franchise?

I having a hard time trying to understand how, in this day and age, you make a sports game and not have anyway to team up and play alongside friends.

I mean this is football we are talking about here. The ultimate "team" sport.

If was buying EA Sports Billiards 15 or EA Sports Bowling 15 ... then I could understand ONLY being able to play other people 1v1
