Best Game Prep Activities Strategies for XP

Has anyone done the legwork on crunching the numbers? Do certain activities offer higher ranges for the hours? Is there a significant difference between user activities and simulated activities? Do we know the formula for calculating XP (i.e. what are the multipliers)?

Probably too early for these questions, but hoping to get the braintrust churning.

Re: Best Game Prep Activities Strategies for XP

I was wondering the same thing. Using the Bills, I am only seeing an average of 600+ XP increase for three or four players per week. This seems a bit low to me. I know the coach has a lot to do with this, so I won't complain too much about it. I thought you could fire him at any point during the season, but I can't seem to find a way to do so. I am liking the fact that you have to work a little harder to build your team compared to last years version.

Agreed, it's not a whole lot of bang for your buck - but there's still an optimal way. No code crackers out there?

If you go to the Staff box in the Owner tab you can fire your coach/trainer/scout. There are 3 random guys available for hire at the start.

I drafted a MLB 16th overall and I consistently get 1200+ XP each week with him. Development speed probably has a lot to do with it. He started as a superstar development speed.

Most other players are between 450-650 from what I see. The Game Prep is a good start but it's just a start.

Re: Best Game Prep Activities Strategies for XP

I normally get 400-600 XP for 8 hours of "develop this LE" or whatever, depending on development, consistency, etc. That comes out to 50-70 XP per hour. But when I do a one hour scrimmage, I typically get 10-15 XP. So that's not nearly as good per hour. So I use scrimmage only for those extra hours that aren't enough to do other activities.

That's all I've got so far...

Honestly, progressing XP sucks if you don't get the corresponding progression upgrade package. Once you get that and get a guy with 60+ consistency and/or superstar dev, you can get 1200-1600 XP per practice with that player.

That's good to know. I haven't gotten any of those yet because I spent all of my cash on scouting...
