Um, how does Game Prep work?

OK, so, I must be an idiot. I can't figure out how Game Prep works.

I have 35 hours of time. I go into the screen, and I select, say, Develop Promising LE. It brings me to a screen where I can chose which LEs to develop. So I select the one(s) I want to develop. In this case, there's just one guy I want to spend 8 hours on. So, the checkmark next to his name is checked, and in the corner it says "27/35 time remaining".

However . . . NOW WHAT? I'm on PS4. X just selects/deselects the checkbox. L1, L2, R1, R2 do nothing. Circle backs me out one screen, and I'm back to 35/35 hours, so it's effectively "cancel". Triangle just selects/unselects all.

My assumption is I should be able to do 8 hours of training of this LE, and then 27 hours in another activity or something. Is this correct?

How do I get it to "save" what I entered??

There is a START button above all the names once you select someone.


I couldn't figure this out at first either.

Haha yes, that conveniently disappears when you scroll through the players.
