Hold up next gen madden on PS4/XBox1 you can't choose the teams captains wth , I atleaste hope all incoming rookies do not have the captains patch... How annoying EA tiburon all you monopoly corporate cronies !!! Visual is not everything in a game they put so much into guys like Eli Manning & Sherman but the user can't even pick their own captains ...so this can only mean wait for MD16!!! Like every other year since next gen.... FIFA ,NHL 15 EA fug fix the darn football game already... No wonder the real madden distance him self from this arcade football game !!! That's it EA your ban for life ....lol

It should atleast automatically name team captains based on the 3-4 guys with highest awareness or something like that

Well, what is the current system? How are captains chosen? I'm starting to wonder it, after a captain is gone, that patch disappears with them.

I don't believe any are chosen. If you trade/release all your captains I don't think anyone would be wearing the patch for the rest of your CFM.

Actually the assigned captains may carry it with them and have the patch regardless of what team, not sure though haven't experimented with it.
