I'll have to check Flacco's setting when I get out of the current game I'm in. Every time I play against him he does absolutely horrible. Not just sitting and taking sacks but also his passing decisions...3, 4 INTs are the norm against him.

After going back to read over the initial descriptions of the QB traits in M12, it seems to me the issue maybe that they weren't tweaked or balanced to account for the increased pressure, due to pass rush changes and the QB pass progression AI in M15. What I mean is "Ideal" was implemented in M12 based on the pass rush and OB AI for that years game but with them claiming that pass rush is more realistically timed in M15, along with a new QB pass progression AI, it begs to reason that the QB traits effected needed to be adjusted accordingly.

The OP mentioned "Trigger Happy" resulting in Dalton playing like Breeze, when I believe in M12, that trait would have allowed a QB to get the throw away BUT make bad reads, ie throwing into coverage, throwing before the receiver was ready for the pass, etc. So maybe that trait, combined with the new QB pass progression AI is allowing a "Trigger Happy" QB to get rid of the ball the moment they sense pressure, while also making good reads.

All that said, I have no idea what's the best fix for that but it's likely not to just switch the labeling of QB traits, that would just be a bandaid. They probably need to recode/reprogram those traits to jive with the other additions but who knows how much work that would entail.

Good find bro!
I stopped using the QB edit roster once the online tuner released. Game is playing much better with the tuner despite all the noise here saying otherwise.

Everyone has their own assessment of the game. Mine is outrageously positive.

But, the thing is when I play Dalton he makes good reads and if no one is open he actually throws the ball away. The most I have personally been able to sack him is twice in one game. The most my team has sacked him was 4 times. I have sacked Brees 11 times because when pressured he just freezes up. He stands there bouncing up and down like he is looking for a receiver but he never throws. This sounds just like the original description of Oblivious to me.

I understood that and I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just saying that maybe the new QB pass progression AI isn't balanced with the QB traits. For example, Dalton is "Trigger Happy", causing him to get rid of the ball at the slightest pressure BUT the QB pass progression is pretty much universal, except for Cam newton I think, allowing those passes to have proper reads. To try to word it another way, it seems like this may stem from an older element being left in the game, QB traits, which is a good thing but not actually integrated with new additions. Sort of like when the Pass Accuracy rating became useless after Madden added SAC/MAC/DAC.

I don't want to get into all the oddities of Madden though, just saying I wonder if QB traits were even taken into consideration when adding the new QB AI. Maybe it was and this is just a glitch or bug that can be patched.

What trait makes them throw to the flats on almost every pass play? Nice work man...its embarrassing for ea that they let stuff like this go. My god what a cluster**** of a company they are. What they should do is hire a guy like you and then actually listen to you.

Clowns are ruining my favorite sport.

I was having the same issue so I looked up a fix and I found out that apperantly if u turn up intentional grounding they won't hold the ball as London I don't really no why but it seems to work

I believe you hit the nail on the head, they need to have a tuner for qb traits and not allow qbs to become oblivious as easily, or something to that affect.
Now we all have to just sit back and hope they address the qb traits and tune them correctly.
It's very simple EA, qbs like Drew Brees should NOT be oblivious to the pass rush and take 10+ sacks per gm. They should "throw ball away", "escape the pocket and/or throw ball away" or "force passes". Sacks should be earned off of good defensive schemes and/or defensive players just blowing up the man in front of them, ala J.J. Watt.
Not because the cpu holds the ball for 6 seconds or longer.
Even qbs like Ryan Fitzpatrick knows how to throw ball away, take off run, etc. What's his awareness rating in M15?
