What's more important awareness or play recognition?

I know both awareness and play recognition are cheap to upgrade, but I wanted to know what's more important, because I would think they're basically the same thing on defense? Is it dependent on position? Thanks to anyone who can answer.

I believe play recognition affects players reaction to pass or run and biting on play action fakes. Awareness for secondary affects reaction time on passes and ability to read/jump routes.

Regarding the secondary....

From what I gather, play recognition is more important for zone coverage. Also for run supporting safeties to recognize run vs pass and not biting on play action.

So if you play a lot of zone I would say play recognition. Awareness seems to be an overall rating that effects a little bit of everything but in a small way. Just general smartness. It raises the overall rating artificially so if you're a slave to overall rating then awareness is big.
