Mid-Game Saves? Online CCM

Almost positive you can save mid-game in offline CCM, what about online CCM? (I'm the only user controlled team).

I'm playing a one-player online CFM as well.

I've not attempted any sort of mid-game save personally, but I would assume "no" because online games - single-player or no - require a constant connection to EA Sports' servers. Presumably then, suspending the system breaks that connection and invalidates the game result.

If this is incorrect, someone more knowledgeable please feel free to correct me.

I think it only does that in play now games u can pick up where u left off if u just shut the system down.

When I was trying to figure out why my game was crashing, I started an online CFM and closed it out after the first quarter to see if it would crash to the main menu screen after I came back to it and finished it. You can actually finish up the game, but it said something like "stats will not be saved for this game". Not sure what that meant, but you could continue the game from where you left off.(xbox 1)
