No editing CPU #s, Equip in Offline CFM?

Every time I try to edit CPU players in my offline CFM I am told "Only the user may edit players.." or something to that extent.

Last year we could edit any players # and equipment in offline CFM without controlling the team. Am I missing something?

Why would this be removed?

Idk if it's a glitch or if done by design, but it's rather annoying.

Editing is restricted to the players on the team you control, which is why you are receiving that message. This mimics the online CFM functionality where editing is restricted to players on your own team for obvious reasons.

In an offline CFM, you will need to add an additional coach or owner character to your game save (presumably as the existing owner / coach of the current team) in order to edit players on that team.

I guess I'll go with 32 team control and set 31 to auto-pilot.

You'd have to tell me on that one, I don't play offline CFM whatsoever.

I hate online CFM.. Way too restrictive and the bonehead CPU roster/draft decisions tender the game unplayable to me.

Offline 100% controlling. All 32
