Psychic Defense On All Madden
Has anyone noticed that regardless of the zone the AI calls on All Madden, the players seem to "know" exactly what the route combinations will be? Granted, in real football sometimes you can tell by formation, but often times, particularly when it's a balanced formation, it is impossible to tell until after the snap.
How is it that on All Madden a corner will run all the way across the formation to get into a zone in front of a hook just in time as the WR is breaking, despite the play calling for that DB to be in a flat zone on his own side? What is the miracle that has given these defenders the ability to psychically guess the play?
There are better ways to make defense more formidable. Ways more consistent with the NFL (faster pass rush- especially when the run game is abandoned, better fighting for the ball, less accurate QBs, etc).
