Short Zone...

Maybe it's all in my head but I do believe that my zone blitz scheme works much better (zone in general) when the middle zone is audibled to a QB Spy. It seems to somehow 'trick' the cpu QB into thinking the middle is properly covered and he holds the ball longer resulting in some sacks, some ints, and some bad throws.

I play coach mode so manually covering the middle isn't an option for me.

Re: Short Zone...

You are not tricking him at all. You're doing exactly what you want that spy to do, keep him from running. That forces him to stay put and make a decision. You can also use it on blitzing LB's in a man to man defense.

Re: Short Zone...

Before I did that the short coverage in zone seemed nonexistent

Re: Short Zone...

I use that some times too. The yellow zones play too deep in general.
