Ok the end zones I saw look like the ones there but not sure if the seats are aqua, would be easier to tell if there were no fans in the stadium.

The corners being cut out in the upper level would be the more telling feature. Seats were moved closer too.

Doesn't even look like the same stadium. Even with the 'smaller' changes this year!

A MUCH NEEDED improvement for sure, place (seems) awful (never been).

What's really cool... I wont post them here, but take a look for some of the current progress pictures. It looks a million times better IRL with the seat change, and moving them a bit closer to the field. It's coming along really nice. It's going to make an old building, look very modern and almost new again.

In Miami? Yes. It is outside. The "roof" they are putting on is more like a canopy, just to cover the stands only to keep the fans out of the hot Florida sun early in the season. The beauty of it is the design of the canopy. Visitors sideline will always be in the sun. Miami sideline will be shaded at all points during the season. Make the opponent wear their dark jerseys (since we usually wear all white at home), and sweat it out.

The main reason for the "roof" was because of the last Super Bowl there when it rained. It will keep the fans dry, and for the most part, shaded on the hot sunny days. The rest of the stadium is still completely open to the elements though. So, not sure why someone would say indoors, unless he was referring to the original topic of the vikes new digs.

Does the Vikes new home have a retractable roof in any way? Was it their new one, or Atlanta's that has the ability to open to the outside in some way shape or form?


I can understand Minnesota's desire to get indoors, winters can be brutal there, but that's giving away a home field advantage with that weather potentially.
