This is that pre-judged garbage that plagues Madden. You're clearly falling a yard or two past the marker, but the animation has already kicked in and if you've played Madden long enough, you can practically predict when it's coming. And it's ridiculous. Especially when it decides to happen when you can't challenge it and it costs you games.

Oh I get it. The fanboyism kicks in when a post is made ABOUT THE GAME that affects the game in a negative way. All the little kids come trolling. Glad I only post here once every blue moon.

The sad part is you're totally correct. It's one of the ugliest sides of the game.

I have to agree with the OP, he has a legitimate complaint, I thought it was just me since I seen no one on OS complain about this issue. The game strait up cheats on 3rd & 4th and shorts, as soon as you are about to reach the first down mark, the game triggers a knock back tackle animation, no matter how much momentum or leverage the ball carrier has, it's such bull crap, I hope its not in Madden 16.

Can you please elaborate on your complaint a bit (or some of the other who understand it) because I don't quite get what you're complaint is.

I know what the OP is talking about I think....
There are times where I knew I got the first down (and not even close) where the RB is a good yard or so past the first down but the ball is marked "Inches short".. Happens more than I'd like for sure.
Almost like as soon as contact is made , and even though the play continues, the ball is "Dead" where contact was made.

It is rather annoying lol
