Madden on XBox One external drive....any benefit

I am running out of room on my internal 500GB and I anticipate grabbing digital version of Madden later today, I am thinking about installing an external drive for it. I see online that a lot of games have seriously improved load times when using a faster external drive. I know that no one can answer for sure about Madden 16 but I was wondering in anyone has experience with Madden 15 on external enclosures.....does the load time get any better or is this a waste of time other than increasing storage capacity?

This won't be the greatest answer in the world, because I can't remember for sure, lol. But, I was running madden 15 on internal drive and then bought external and moved to external. I do believe the loading was faster, however, it still seems slower than other games, so madden loading, in general, is slow, imo. But, a fast external drive can help some. I got the touro mobile pro. It was the fastest, I believe, at the time I purchased a year ago.

Thanks for the replies. I have done my share of reading on the matter and understand "why" it should be faster but was wondering if Madden in particular benefited from this increase or not. I guess it's worth a try since I know that some games like Forza load a lot faster according to benchmarks.

If anyone else can chime in please do....I'd love to hear your thoughts on this as it pertains to Madden.

If you want the juicy info I would venture over to digital foundry, Red dot and last but definitely not least AVS.

If your worried or it seems slower once you get it you can alway transfer the games that you dont play anymore or as much to the external drive and put madden on the the Xbox hard drive.

I'm not worried....I'd just like to see a decrease in load times if possible.
