max franchise length is 30 years

If they don't mess up something in the gameplay in one of the patches, I'm going to try to get to 20 years, playing all the games. They did go a bit too far in limiting progression so it should get tuned up a bit, but IMO, the game plays better with players in the mid 60's to high 80's range. The 90's players are usually too OP in game.

someone had the theory that maybe they're trying to slowly drop overalls all around and next year the base rosters will have much lower ovr players on them.

It kind of seems like they already did that with speed this year

That sounds like the ultimate cfm franchise accomplishment. It's do able too. Sim pre season games for sure
