Best overall for any player I've ever seen drafted in any madden game. Unfortunately he certainly does not play like the best player I've ever drafted. He is a fairly capable FB. Just nothing special.

What warranted that rating? I don't see anything special about the ratings it shows.

Just the combination of run skills plus block skills plus a relatively high awareness. Frankly FB overall ratings aren't done very well. You can make any of them a 95+ overall with just good awareness. I think if you're a 95+ overall you need to be a special type of player. Either an absolute mauler blocking, a great runner, or a great receiver, or some combination of those.

But 95+ overall FBs don't seem to really stand out. Other than they don't run the wrong way and constantly miss blocks.

I'd love to see the really big and strong OL or TE or FBs be able to absolutely smash a LB once in awhile. But they don't. They just hold the blocks. Same as a guy who is much smaller or weaker. Shame really. It's hard to really use a power running game in this madden. Much better off running some type of zone and using OL who are much faster. Strength does not have nearly the effect it should

im kind of a draft nut so heres is some of the top players from my excel spread sheet. i have there combines at the end with the speed/str/jum rating next to them. i wanted to get a science behind the combine #s and so far they hold true for most players the same. my highest drafted players was a 89 hb whos a 87 in the wrong scheme
