Re: Patch 2 Wishlist

XP/progression could really use a tweak.

It's not outrageously low, but even allowing us to edit the development trait would help the "no star players" issue as players over 90ovr retire.

Re: Patch 2 Wishlist

One thing I would like to see patched is the amount of points being scored by RB's and back up RB's. An average of 1,185 more points are being scored in a single season of madden than in real life. The passing game is near perfect when producing realistic stats through sim. There also are not nearly enough field goals being made compared to real life which could be a direCT result of the computer converting too much and pounding the rock into the endzone for TD's with back ups when simming. Shouldn't be a tough thing to tune.

Not going to happen.

Here's kind of a workaround:

Create another player profile for your opponent that week. Take over the player role of whoever you want (QB/HB, etc).

Plug a 2nd controller into your system. Move it to the other team.

Now when you play you will play as both offenses. Only down side is you won't be able to control the RB since you're the QB.

The other option would be to create the coach profile of your opponent that week...but you'd have to choose the defense's plays when you have the ball.

Re: Patch 2 Wishlist

A minor one overall (especially compared to others posted already), but I hope the sim a win feature is tweaked if possible. I've seen it mentioned on the site already, but it was my first experience trying it. I went to sim the first week of the season to match real-life results (since I just started my franchise, I figured I'd begin control in week 2) and the scores are outrageous.

I made multiple attempts to see if they'd come down and the best I could hope for was a couple 50+ scores and most of the rest in the 30s and 40s for winners. The 50+ games are bad enough, but in one sim the Panthers won 70-6, the Titans 64-0, and the Packers 90-14 (Rodgers had 8 TDs, Lacy had 4), with not a single winner scoring under 40 points.

Re: Patch 2 Wishlist

What needs fixing most gameplay wise is all the sacks on PA and screen passes! The only sacks my team get are when cpu QB Play actions. And every time I do screen and PA with Manziel (auto pass) he gets sacked every time.

I agree with you here, I've seen a couple of occasions where 2nd string RB's have led the league in rushing TD's. In one instance DeAngelo Williams led the league w/ 19TDs having only 120 or so carries and 420 something yards. However there's another thing I've noticed, while "most" QBs are getting there correct passing numbers yardage and TD wise, very few QBs pass comp & attempts have been trending near where they have been. I've seen on a regular basis that Luck 150-200 less pass attempts on the norm (without injury), Cam Newton is way under his 16 16 game totals of his first 3yrs and even Matthew Stafford's attempts are comparably low. Last year when the patched the passing/receiving stats they just made completion percentages higher which created it's own issue.

Another thing that has happened is sim passing to RBs is almost gone. Receiving backs like Forte, Bell, Charles, McCoy, Joique Bell and Ellington aren't typically reaching their career averages (Ellington has a much smaller sample size) let alone the 3rd down backs who if you set someone as a 3rd down back different from the starter they still aren't being used (sorry Darren Sproles, Danny Woodhead, Gio Bernard and Reggie Bush {whenever he returns he presents an interesting 3rd down option for the niners}; you guys are just going to have to deal with being basically non-factors). So yeah please try to fix those things in CFM...not just online CFM either, throw some love to us offline 32 team control guys.
