Player salary requests are too low

EA needs to rework the numbers that guys want, it's always way lower than it should be. It's like they are still using the 2010 model for player requests even though the cap has gone way up, which is why most team have $20-30M of cap space. Make it a challenge!

Ex. Julio Jones gets 5 year $71M in real life, but wants like 6 year $56M in game. Of course you're going to have money out the wazuu if all your guys can be resigned for 60 percent of realistic numbers.

Chandler Jones just broke the sack record and wanted 5 years, $26M. He would get a contract of close to $100M in the real world.

since controlling all 32 teams , i have noticed how low these offers can be in terms with your "funds" , no wonder people complain they can sign "all-star"squads in 1 offseason.


you have to play house rules , but i also kinda bump up the contracts a couple clicks so its not so darn unrealstic.

I am in year 1, he wanted to negotiate after week 4 and thats what he wanted.

This is something that EA never got it right. Salaries. I understand that they don't want to frustrate the player with $$ issues but if players don't want a realistic salary cap. And don't want that challenge. They should just play coach and not owner mode and disable salary cap space.

Why ea doesn't do this more in line with real life at this time of the development is beyond me.

Hope they fix this in future releases since they seem to go to sim path now.

it doesn't make it any easy fix for CPU teams. If teams can sign any player because they have cap space there would never be star players in FA
