It's come up a bit in discussion in a few threads, but I don't see a thread just discussing whether or not playing with or without the tuner is best. What do you think? What have you noticed?

Playing with.
Game is great. Best Madden ever on the field. I have found no reason to play without it after deleting it and re downloading it after the latest patch.Now Playing on PS5:

I'm enjoying the game w/o the tuner and with a fresh install of the game and the latest patch.
The big thing the patch was supposed to address was spectacular catch chances, and I'm seeing enough variety in that aspect of the game for my tastes. I'm getting great games and agree w/ Armor that this is a great game. You can enjoy it with or without the tuner, imo.Comment

Without. LOVE IT. Sound crazy and this could be confidence but I did a few CFM test same 3 games. One with and one without and without CFM was much more enjoyable experience with more accurate stats.
My experience and could be confidence since the game play very differently one from each other.

I actually haven't played many games with the tuner yet, as I don't have strong enough internet connection to connect to online and update things. So I have been playing without and it's been a great game once the confidence workarounds were discovered.
Now I have the tuner installed, so we'll see how it goes. Interesting to see a variety of opinions on this. Maybe it's similar to different slider sets - whether you like or dislike the tuner depends on your playing style and skill level.Comment

Didn't the developers state that the only thing the tuner changed was Aggressive Catch chances, which was a major community point of criticism?
I personally play with the tuner and have neither found nor sought a compelling reason to play without it.Comment

I deleted it and reinstalled after the patch. Plays fine. Leave it alone.Don't look back too long and don't look too far ahead.Comment

Yeah. The most rational thing to do is play with the tuner. But I feel the deep pass wr/db interaction feels more scripted with the tuner. And more organic without it.
This is why I play without the tuner. But again it could be just coincidence.
