Zone Run

I hired a head coach who runs the zone run style offense.

My question is, I brought in players that run that style as well, but I can't find a ZONE RUN playbook . Any ideas?

Re: Zone Run

Okay thanks I'll check it out. I mean, it matters that my players use a zone run playbook to be effective, right?

You can edit your coaches scheme I believe and you can edit your Playbook. All that really matters is that you are running the type of offense YOU want and getting players to match that scheme. If you have players that not only fit your scheme, but also your specific player types (for example if you have Shane vereen and switch your RB type in your scheme to receiving, you will notice his overall will go up). He does not receiving a ratings boost, it's just that whatever type you choose weights different attributes more heavily. So his receiving ability is more valued in that type of scheme. I hope this helps and makes sense.

Re: Zone Run

TRUE' But some traits and schemes can and will change your depth cart automatically, So be careful. For example, Lets say you have two RB's A and B. Both are rated 80 over all. A is a one cut style of player.. B is a speed back. Now you go to coaches Scheme... You change the RB scheme to Balanced.. Now go back and look at the pictured Depth chart. , RB A might be an 84 and B a 78.. The depth chart will move RB A to number one.. Change it again to REC back.. Now go look at depth.. RB A may have dropped to 75 and RB might have moved to 81.. Now RB B will be put as the # 1 rb in depth chart. The problem I have found in doing this is that not all of the schemes match up.. You would think that switching to ONE CUT would be the best and the highest Over all for RB A.. Yet power back setting gives him the best Over all setting. I think EA screwed this up and have some settings reversed. Also the fist setting in the 3 WR's is the only one that seems to affect all WR's... Wr # 2 and #3 don't change anything no matter what you switch the scheme to. CB's the same way. Here is what I did.. Using the editor I switched all my offensive linemen tackles to LT.. Then i went through all the different schemes involving LT.. I marked the best package and players fitting into those schemes.. Using the editor, Then i switched all the tackles to RT, repeating the process. Then all guards to LG and vise versa until I had the best player and schemes that gave them the best overalls.. It improved my team from an 82 over all to a 87 over all..
