Are drive goals still an issue?

I haven't played since the game first came out and just bought it again. Was curious if the drive goals problem that plagued this game has been fixed now? Or do I still need to do some fix/workaround?

If you mean they're completely pointless to bother doing... then yes, they've fixed them.

What I mean is, do they still mess up the confidence and ratings to where they're overinflated stats? If so, can i turn this feature off?

They've been tuned enough that they aren't that big of a deal.

So if I'm currently in a franchise using the user opponent work around to eliminate them, I can just stop and not worry about getting huge confidence boosts for stupid stuff?

It was, unfortunately, a totally unrealistic and poorly implemented concept from the get go. My guess is they will be absent or at least modified beyond recognition in M17.

But yes, they no longer completely unbalance the Connected Franchise Mode.
