Question for coach mode users

Does difficulty level matter in coach mode?

The reason I ask is because in MLB the Show it doesn't matter - confirmed by a developer.

If it does matter, what difficulty do you play on?

Thanks.

Re: Question for coach mode users

I use all-pro but I'd honestly prefer pro.

Re: Question for coach mode users

Back and forth between all pro and pro. All pro seems to bring smarter AI/play calling for cpu...

Question for coach mode users

Are they really smarter or just more effective? I kinda agree with Playmakers in that there's really no difference in the intelligence from level to level. It's just that Pro seems too easy. My issue is further compounded by the fact that I almost refuse to adjust sliders.

Re: Question for coach mode users

I am continually befuddled by the Pro level. This is the level where attributes/ratings should make the most difference since no one is getting any artificial boost. You should see a 90 rated guy beat a 79 rated guy most of the time. But people don't play on Pro for the most part...they do All Pro or even All Madden.

I don't get it. For realism, why not stick with Pro? I am missing something I am sure, but why isn't Pro the standard sim level? Your success or failure should be due to your play calling and roster as opposed to invisible boosts that your team, or the cpu, may get on other levels.

If Pro is too easy, doesn't that mean that the team you have is more powerful and better than most other teams you play? What is it on the Pro level that makes it easy for people? Play calling by cpu? Player performance on field by cpu? What is the driving factor(s) that makes Pro just too easy for most? Coach players I mean...

Re: Question for coach mode users

I have no clue what makes it easy honestly. I personally am a team building head coach so I let coach suggestions call my plays so that rules out play calling. I'm in season 2 with JAX and the teams I face have higher overall ratings than my own but we still win. Most times, they put up good stats overall but we're always able to overcome turnovers etc it seems
