What if we could vote for features?

Developers are announcing games earlier than ever and allowing public alphas and betas.

What if we could vote on next years improvements?

Would the ones they don't work on anger fans?

Seems inevitable that it is going in this direction

Fan votes sound great and all. but at the end of the day, a video game company has it's own vision for their game.


In my Opinion, the Madden community is broken into: Casual or Sim, CFM, H2H, and Ultimate Team. Each group strongly believes their area doesn't get enough attention and is overlooked each year.

I wouldn't mind them creating a poll saying " We will TRY to implement the top 3 features/wants" for each group and then show the results and a quick explanation "why" certain features can't be added.


Then we come to the people that completely hate ultimate team saying " They are focusing to much on that money grab game mode!"

Even when EA tries to do good, they'd get hate for not adding top voted features

And people wonder why I generally cut EA a lot of slack.

They introduce fan voting into the player ratings and the OS crowd loses their ****.

Then someone suggests voting for game features. EA can't win at times.

Sorry OP, I don't mean to be harsh but it is a terrible idea.

I don't care for micro transactions but you get what you pay for. If EA polled "cfm" users (people who have logged CFM hours) for their vote and actually implemented what we vote for...we should be ready to open our pocketbook too.

The game we get for $60 is what we have. Want more? Pay more. (Maybe)
