How do I fix it so it can show my 3-4 starters instead of a 4-3.

I use the Dallas Cowboys, and they are a 4-3 team. I use a 3-4 and changed them around and signed and released and traded to fit my 3-4. (I refuse to use a 4-3 when I play madden against CPU or HUM, I HATE IT I think it stinks, and it's such a simple D and boring).

But in a game when they show the starters it shows them a 4-3. I think maybe they are a 4-3 team and that's how it is programmed.

This isn't something that will get to me, but if I can change it, I will.

Anyone know how?

Have you tried changing your team's defensive scheme setting (in the coach settings menu) to Base 3-4 / Attacking 3-4? I think that will do the trick for you.

Funny thing is Defensive alignment showed in game is tied to the offensive playbook..example..Seattle offensive playbook is 4-3..Eagles offensive playbook is 3-4 and etc..now if u use a created playbook then it's base on which team u use as a base to start..what I can't answer is if u use playbook tied to the generic offensive playbooks..

I use a 3-4 playbook.

My offense is based off of Dallas.

I made a playbook based off of GB and it still showed 4-3.

This is hard coded into the game, you can't get intro's to change regardless if you switch your scheme, playbook or coach.

It's been this way for years (ever since they introduce connected careers mode).

I hope they fix it next year, but I doubt they will.

So you're saying I can make Dallas show a 3-4 starting line up? By using an offensive book of a team who used a 3-4? So I can't use my very own playbook?
