Re: Relocation

Argh, Columbus Aviators 2nd uni option shows up completely different in game than the picture. That looked like the best of all the unis in the game to me too.

agreed. This mode is so incredibly infuriating right when you finally find a team concept you can roll with just a look a little deeper and they'll be some aspect of them that's wrong and sucks away at immersion.

I know that feeling. I started playing with the "Marshalls", the best relocation team in my opinion, then it hit me that the real word is spelled Marshals. That just killed it for me. Never used them again.

HAH! I never realized that either, lol. I did a team as them too for a bit.

That's so funny, that's like a team being called the "Timmys"

That's so funny and that's also San Antonio right? their abbreviation is SAT I believe in the game. what are they an aptitude test or a football team? there's a professional sports team in that city and every where I look they go by SA it's totally confounding to me why EA decided to reinvent the wheel when it comes to city abbreviations. Portland's is named after the airport.

Re: Relocation

Quick question for those who've played around with relocation. Can an owner move the team two years in a row?
What I'd like to achieve is the Chargers moving to LA but not moving to the "futuristic" stadium straight away.

So I'd like to RELOCATE them to LA in year1 but "build" a basic open stadium
And then in year 2 I'd REBUILD the stadium into the deluxe futuristic.

Is this possible? (obviously while changing the relocation setting to "always")

Well I believe you can relocate in back to back years but you can't relocate and rebuild in the same city. Reason being is that the rebuild feature is locked until your stadium drops below a certain rating, and since you'll be in a new stadium (even if it's the most basic, cheapest one) your ratings won't be low enough

I'm 99% sure on this

#1 I wouldn't change it to "always" I'd change it to the "user can always move" or whatever it says the other one will get you teams moving on their own and I doubt you'd want that cause they'll choose wackness.

I'm fairly certain you can do this it just might not be in back to back seasons. you may have to wait a few years before you're able to rebuild the stadium.

You're right, you can't relocate to the same city you are currently in.
But there is a way to relocate from any city, no matter how high the stadium rating; use the "everyone can relocate" settings instead of "all users only". But be careful, or you'll have other teams relocate as well. In Madden 16, I had my relocation setting at "disabled" until week 4, then I changed it to "everyone" before advancing to week 5. Then in week 5, I started my relocation process by choosing a city. Then, before advancing to week 6, I set relocation setting back to "disabled".
I'm not going to relocate in Madden 17 yet. I want to see if they fix the issue with madden logo instead of team logo on all the video screens. It really looks awful and detracts from the realism big time.
