Buying Madden online or Disc

Sup Guys:

Simple question: Is there really a difference between buying a game (in this case Madden) Online at the PS Store or buying the disc at a Local Store? I´ve never bought a game Online so wanted to know if there are some pros and cons (not counting re-sell value and hassle to have to go to the store).

I rarely buy the Disc anymore unless I luck into some crazy deal. Sales tax (versus none online) pretty much negates future trade ins in my eyes. Having a slow connection would be the only downside to online. No disc to break with online purchase, so you always have a backup as well.

I bought Online but I wish I got the disc to trade it in when 2k is out. The game is ok for now but I can tell after the newness sets in, a lot of ppl is going to dogged this game. It's playable but it really could have been better. Get the disc

Don't believe that's true. Disk games install and run from harddrive just like a digital game and takes up the same space.

I have been digital only for the past three years.

Pros:
-Can't break a disc if you don't have one
-Can't lose a disc if you don't have one
-Convenience
-Ability to pre-download the game and play midnight releases at 12:00:00

Cons
-if you have a lot of games, you can run out of disc space (pretty easy to manage honestly with a 500GB hard drive)
-can't trade in a digital game

Games no longer run off the disc, they install to the HDD and use the same amount of space as digital download.

Physical takes up same amount of room as digital. So if you have a lot of games either way you can run out.
