Thanks for posting it, though. The information is great and gives us a needed peek under the hood with ratings and how they affect gameplay. I always thought offensive line quality didn't mean much for passing and meant everything for running...interesting to see the results here.

Great read and the guys other piece of information about progression is worth a read to all too.

Now I know if I want to run a heavy 'run' offense I don't need to worry about superstars as much as I do for a 'pass' heavy offense. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome stuff. I've definitely noticed in cpu v cpu games that o-line matters when passing. Not sure yet about the running game.

I asked him if he ever thought about posting here because there was a ton of people that would love his type of analysis but he said he doesn't check here often but didn't mind if I posted his stuff here. So if he has some more great stuff you can expect to see it here.

I've become an All-Madden convert this year, and IMO, the discrepancy between great/good lines and poor ones shows up even more on that level, but not in a way that I would consider cheating. For me the weak run blocking is harder to overcome than the poor pass blocking.
