Tackle battles on all madden

Ive been playing mostly on all pro and it seemed to work pretty good. But on all madden it seems you only have time to maybe get lucky with a random button press. Do people just wait for these to pop up? Im focusing on doing moves with the ball carrier and usually pressing buttons before I even realize the thing is there, then its too late to beat lightning fast cpu.

It definitely feels harder to pull off on All Madden.. Have to press a lot faster. I personally hate tackle battle on any level, it causes for weird looking animations must the time. You can have a 200 pound running back who is held up then get the tackle battle and he just throws a 300 pound dlineman like nothing.

At least it only happens 5-6 times a game.
