How about the Pro Bowl voting? I don't see that anywhere and
No idea if any of my guys make the Pro Bowl or not.

i get why they did it this way. in real life, the pro bowl players aren't announced until very late in the season IIRC.

Is there any information on the criteria used to hand out awards? Also I believe there are penalties in the voting for negative stats like fumbles and interceptions, but would fumbles affect a QB's or WR's votes, or just a HB? Do sacks taken count against QBs?

no, no info on this but all my years of playing madden suggests the following:
- team record
- games started
- individual stats (sacks, receptions, yards, passer rating, pancakes/sack given up)


this is all anecdotal of course.

I think certain positions get more love than others,
I had a te that was the best pass catcher in the league by far in his rookie year but lost the roy to qb that was barely a top 20 qb in the league.
