It is 2016. Not having online access to your online CFM stats, results, etc is flat out inexcusable. The fact that we have already had this feature for YEARS, and they decide to take it out, also inexcusable.

They were supposedly making an app. Was it a surprise that you were going to release Madden this year, EA? How is this not out yet? Are you really that intimidated by Daddyleagues, the MUT sites, etc that you flat out pulled access to something, disguised as a "work in progress"?

If I had known this functionality wouldn't be here this year, as it usually has been, I 100% would not have purchased this game. Online CFM is a pain in the *** now without the Daddyleagues functionality.

But hey... Color Rush unis in MUT, yo.

It's not even like we're asking for a new feature . Simply a feature we've had in the past. So common for EA to do something like this. They'll probably introduce the cfm website as a new feature for Madden 18. Instead they'll change the background of the site and call it new . #sotired

It's not even like we're asking for a new feature . Simply a feature we've had in the past. So common for EA to do something like this. They'll probably introduce the cfm website as a new feature for Madden 18. Instead they'll change the background of the site and call it new . #sotired

It's coming they just aren't allowed to talk about it publicly right now. Once it comes out, I think we will get a back story of what happened. I'm hearing that something happened and it wasn't technically possible to keep the old CFM site with 17.

Agreed.

The best part about the website was being able to force advance from work for my league with friends.

I personally feel like we are getting 50% of a product in respect to cloud franchises.

Ivwould have preferred them keep the old website, work on the "new stuff", then transition to the new. Not leave us hanging with nothing.

Like the OP, im disappointed by the situation, im sure there was a good reason for not having it up and running, but its really slowed the gaming process for me.

I realize the football season is young, but its Madden prime time, time. I certainly hope the new cfm access point is much sooner, than any later.

I never played CF in a online league. is it simliar to what 2k5 did? We had message boards, polls etc. I think NCAA did this also.

I usually just stroll thru finding what I can find to better my Madden skills but since Madden 17 dropped Ive had a mission. That mission? To find out what the hell they did with DADDYLEAGUES.
Look games nice but I didnt notice how important DDL was to Madden until they held it hostage. The hype of finding out if your rival lost their game and who you play next. The stats and who is in lead or running for end of season awards. Automatic score post up to Groupme App from Daddyleagues. Can get an easy picture of what players you want to trade with and for...etc etc etc.
EA has killed the experience for me and many more by...and lets be real...taking down DDL just so they can figure out how to make money off of it. We are not fools. DDL's was running smoothly without EA and when EA calculated and crunched the numbers they saw a potential cash cow.
This sh*t is unexceptible. They wonder why everyone says "F*#k EA", reasons like these cause this rhetoric.

Your off base here. DL isn't a cash cow, and what they were making is insignificant to EA. DL was a third party site using people's secure login information to gain access to EA servers, it was at the least a violation of EA's TOS I'd guess. They are developing a system that will allow people access to these stats without having to allow third party sites the use of their login credentials. Side note: I am a big DL fan so don't take this as me hating on DL, I know I personally miss it.

This to me is more about creating a secure path to connectivity over this notion of some sort of money grab. This dev team has shown that they are not out to suck every penny out of customers, as seen by their continuous development strategy. As I said before, once the NDA is lifted and they can talk, I think we will get a back story that makes sense to everyone.

There's not. Quite frankly, we've got to be getting close. Ever since last thursday, i've told myself while getting ready for work, today's going to be the day. Today marks day 5 of let down.

This has incidentally given me a bunch of time to speculate. Why not just incorporate this into the madden mobile app? So then in the drop down where it says Live Events, Head To Head, Season, Leagues - Put an Option "CFM".

Selecting "CFM" would allow you to log into your online franchise, using gamertag, email, and password. Once logged in, you see in the App, what you see on your TV at home.

Now, they can add or limit functionality as desired, but essentials would be:

Training
Sim Game/View Game Stats/Week Advance
Big Decisions
Improve Team

Then by swiping, you could get to the Depth chart screen, and adjust by holding the player card, or bring up the player card by tapping his card.

Here we should be able to add xp, adjust depth, access auto subs, coach options, injuries, etc.

Then, by swiping again, you get the option to view other Teams/Games, current matchups, previous game stats, Compare your team against next Opponent, etc.

Lastly, by swiping again, you come to the Options Tab. Sliders, Custom Play Books, League Settings, and what not.

Anyhow, this is a brief description of my Madden Pipe Dream. Sooner than Later Ea, Sooner than later....

My guess is that it will probably show up with the upcoming big update. I'm sure they will both drop together to. But this is just my opinion.
