Is there anyway to improve practice squad players?

I usually go for guys who have quick or better development to fill my practice squad with. Like previously said, the players can accumulate a nice amount of xp there

given how frequently mine PS players get picked dup by other teams, i wouldn't do this myself.

I have that feature turned off. I feel like if I was to leave it on, it'd make the whole feature quite pointless
