Does qb carry effect strip sacks?

Like the title says, pretty basic question. Would a qb with 90 carry, have less chance to be strip sacked, over a qb with 60 carry?

Short answer: yes. I believe it was D81SKINS (not entirely sure it was him) went in and edited QBs to at least 70 carrying and found it greatly reduced the number of strip sacks. I've done this as well and seen far fewer.

have been wondering the same. moved me QB's carry rating from 67 to 99 and he still fumbled four times in two games.

SSS though so time will tell.

Upping the CAR rating doesn't seem to affect fumbles when the QB is in the throwing motion.

I guess ive been lucky. I have 2 strip sacks against me in 2 seasons.

Nor should it, when the QB is not a "ball carrier."

This is what i was thinking, he's not really carrying the ball, like a runner, he's being stripped while throwing.

I play in a 32 man CFM, and guys are complaining almost every week about strip sack fumbles. Seriously have games where one qb fumbles 4-6 times. I haven't had it happen, but I'm seeing other guys with issue.
