Blocked kicks - too many?

I guess I'm just really good with my timing the snap reflex because I usually get a blocked kick once a game.

It's has to tirigger animation for you to get in. There are more blocked kicks and fumbles on PS4. People don't realize there is a difference in gameplay. For instance Xbox one has too many face mask penalties. Some issues are platform pacific. So they try and patch it and now Xbox one has like no fumbles or block kicks.

Before the patch and a few tuners, I had 6. 2 blocked field goals and 1 blocked punt and 2 field goals and 1 punt for cpu. Since then, I there have had a one close call so I believe this has been tuned down.

And this is one thing I hate.

I hate that it's, in some ways - a scripted event.
I also don't like that the interior linemen/defenders don't try to jump up to get a hand on the ball as it sails overhead.

I simulated 3 CFM seasons and the "Number of times blocked" in Season Punting stats is for all team always equal to 0; is it so only for me?

I have yet to block one .. Although I have "triggered" the animation a few times in 2+ seasons of my cfm (just never timed it right or jumped late etc). CPU has probably blocked me 5 or 6 times in those seasons. However 3 times in the last 1.5 games (I'm at halftime and the Broncos blocked a field goal and blocked a punt they returned for a touchdown).

Overall it's nothing that's crazy usually

I am on week 14 and I have 1 blocked punt and 2 blocked fgs. The cpu has only blocked one punt against me and 1 pat. I find that to be pretty realistic.

I blocked an XP and a FG in the same game. Ridiculous.

I have blocked several more in other games, and had my FG blocked by the CPU once.

Thing is, I have not played that many games.

Happening far too often IMO. It's great they are there, but needs to occur at a realistic frequency to be enjoyable.

Ok EA, we see you. We know you really did add in the strip fumbles and kick blocks. Now let's try to get back to some semblance of NFL reality,
