That's dumb. I remember past maddens would say the common name.

I had the QBs split into pocket passers and mobile, the WRs split into big possession or small speed, RBs split into power or speed. Everybody plays pretty close to what you'd imagine would happen IRL.

No the commentary is pretty bad. They just say things like "the running back" and they butcher more than half of the QB intros. They call people rookies when they 3-4 years in, call rookies veteran QBs, etc.

The in-game commentary is a little better but all of the introduction stuff is a disaster.

How Brett Rypien Becomes the Starting QB for the Redskins in 2022

After the end of the 2016 season the Redsins sign Kirk Cousins to a 5 year 120 mil contract and start to build one of the best defenses the NFL has ever seen. 1 year later they draft Lamar Jackson in the first round of the draft. Jackson sits his rookie year until Cousins breaks his color bone in the 2017 NFC championship, leaving Jackson to start his first NFL game as a rookie in the Super Bowl. Jackson and the Redskins beat the Raiders in OT and a QB controversy is born.

The Redskins trade Cousins to the Texans to save cap room and Jackson takes them back to the Super Bowl where they lose to the Janguars in another overtime SB. In his final year of his rookie contract he leads the Redskins to an undefeated season after dismantling Deshaun Watson and Dalvin Cook's Browns. He then refuses to resign with the Redskins and gets picked up by the Texans in free agency, forever ****ing Kirk Cousins.

The Redskins go the Broncos route and pick up 2 second string level QBs in free agency, Trace McSorely and Bretton Rypien. The 2 new QBs come in to compete with top HS recruit Kellen Mond.

Going into the 2022 season the depth chart at QB reads Mond, Rypien, McSorely before Mond and Rypien both go down with 8 week injuries in the preaseason. McSorely gets the start for week 1 and leads the Redskins to a 5-1 start before Mond and Rypien come back. They both get a shot in game 7 and get booed off the field losing at home to a 3-3 Titans team. McSorely gets the starting job back and all is good until he breaks his arm up 13-3 against the Vikings in the 3rd quarter of week 11. Mond comes in and slowly loses the lead, finding the Redskins down 31-27 getting the ball with 1 minute to play. Rypien comes in for the final drive and.. 1:06:30

First game as a starter Rypien throws 5 TDs w 1 INT while beating the packers with a 67 year old Rodgers at QB. Game 2 he chokes up in the 4th as Matt Jones gets his revenge against the Redskins with the Colts. Game 3 Rypien throws 6 TDs with no INTs and 1 rushing TD before getting injured on a late hit out of bounds in the second to last play of the game. Torn shoulder. Out for a month. At least he'll be back for the playoffs.

A star is born in the last 6 minutes of the 2022 NFC Championship. Crazy finish is crazy.

Okay there is clearly something wrong with your franchise. Here is a screen shot.

100% of every judge in the country will instantly throw out any lawsuit in which someone is suing over recording and speaking a common name in a game with no attachment to a player's likeness.
