Dev trait cost in CFM

So, 4 seasons in to our full user CFM, a couple of us noticed some things:

What are the rhymes and reasons to why certain positions cost more to upgrade the Dev trait than others? Example, currently for me, WR, CB, DL, LB all cost 12.5k to upgrade. All over positions cost 16.5k. Why those?

Another user in the league, his OL only cost 10k to upgrade from normal to Quick, then 11k from Quick to Superstar. Why is his lower than mine, if all coaching traits are equal? (Not that it matters, as coaching traits have no bearing on cost)

My theory is, a bug is occurring, where the age % discount is applying to Dev traits for some users, where it shouldn't for Dev trait. You shouldn't be be able to make a normal dev 21 yo OL a superstar by mid season his rookie year.

Anyone else notice irregularities like this?

I wouldn't worry since traits are now dynamic. Win a few awards, and make a pro bowl or two and it can change for free.

You wouldnt worry about it, just put in multiple seasons of work to make up for it? lol come on....

Hardly anyone in our league has had that dynamic trait kick in. Ive won multiple awards, broken records, etc... nothing. Thats not a feasible alternative. Thats luck.

Re: Dev trait cost in CFM

After more investigation, it seems the initial "pick your coach type" function is so amazingly ****ed and skewed lol.

So if you pick the one that develops players... you get HUGE discounts for dev traits.

If you pick the scouting one you get... wait for it.... a few points off weekly scouting of 2 positions that YOU DONT EVEN GET TO CHOOSE.

Example, my HB and FB costs 11 pts vs 15 for the first scout. 4 seasons in and Ive never even scouted FB or HB.

While the guys who picked the other style coach gets to raise Dev traits at a big discount.
What. A. ****ing. Joke. EA.

If ppl know that, there is absolutely no reason to ever pick anything other than the Dev coach.

I heard that when you force feed your WR you don't get to pick which position you can scout.

We just hit season five in a 32 man CFM - here are my changes

2nd year RT - Drafted as a 'normal' after rookie season (PB) he went to Quick, his second season (PB) he's now 'star' development.

3rd year LT - Drafted as a 'normal', made PB in his 2nd, and 3rd seasons, and is now 'quick' development in his 3rd season.

Stock Player DB - James Bradberry - Normal Development, made the PB in season four and is now 'quick' development.

------------------

We have had several examples of the dynamic development changes across our league, and we also play with the XP sliders lowered to 70%.

Re: Dev trait cost in CFM

That still has nothing to do with the big picture here.... It's bugged, and only for some. Half the league is at a huge disadvantage.

Teams have 11 star and 9 fast dev players. All under age 25. That's a huge gap.

You have demonstrated very clearly that you did not read the OP's question at hand. Twice
