Anyone know a workaround for the SAVE SCREEN freeze?

I'm on xbox 1 and 9/10 times I try to manually save my offline franchise the thing freezes and I have to re-start the game, anyone know how to fix this or a workaround?

ive usually found it is because you have several save files for the cfm
delete old ones and retry

I've had the same issue since launch. i just go with the autosave feature for the most part after playing a game in franchise mode.

What I did manage to do was to figure out how to save my offline franchise start-up roster to begin with. Before making my changes I turned off my system and unplugged it for a minute. After I rebooted, I was able to make roster adjustments, etc and then manually save that. I have to do the same thing if I decide to go in to custom playbooks to change my gameplan.
