CFM Player Vanishing Not Retired

So, I'm the browns, and going into the '19 free agency period, I suddenly look at my roster and my 97ovr LT Joe Thomas is just gone... No mention of him retiring at all. I had him signed thru 2020. Also had the OL retirement package purchased. It happens no matter what I do.
I went back a few weeks and simmed ahead and he's still gone.. He isn't available as a FA either...

Wtf is this?

How does a 97 rated player just cease to exist like that? Is there a work around to this glitch that anybody knows of? Would appreciate the help thanks.

Otherwise, I'll have to pretend that he died in a bad drunk driving accident.
It sucks Cuz I haven't scouted a single LT either. So sweet I'm screwed. B warned.

i think on ps4 u can edit age just restart and make him 27

Ya as an update, I did that and as long as it's before week 17 it works he doesn't retire.

he retired. it just wasn't listed in the news cos too much stuff happened.
